Noah began sailing Optimists when he was 8 years old and came up through the Junior Club program at RCYC where he was coached by Osvaldo Padron. He sailed in a number of Optimist Canadian Championships and international events. At 13 he made an early move into the Laser Radial and finished 12th in his first Canadian Youth Championships. Two years following, Noah joined the Ontario Sailing Radial team. In the end of the 2015 season, Noah was invited a spot on the Laser Standard Ontario team. Most recently, Noah has moved up to the Sail Canada National Development Team.
Noah's recent results include a 45th (and top 10 in U19 division) at the 2017 U21 Worlds; 13th at the Laser North American Championships; and 15th, and top Canadian, at the Midwinters. The coming 2018 season has much to offer for Noah, he is currently finishing grade 12, preparing to enter Queen's University ,and getting ready for a full-time summer that includes Kiel Week in Germany, the U21 Worlds in Poland, and the Laser Senior Worlds in Denmark. Future goals for Noah are Olympic and world stage medals in Laser and possibly Finn. As you can see Noah's schedule drives significant campaign costs and he is grateful for any and all contributions - Thank you!
