I’m Mats Braaten, a 19-year-old ILCA 7 sailor from Toronto, representing the Royal Canadian Yacht Club. Sailing has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I’ve had the privilege of competing at both national and international levels. As a member of the Canadian Sailing Youth Squad and the Sail Canada Identified Athlete Program, I’m currently focused on qualifying for the Junior Pan Am Games and competing at the U21 World Championships in Ireland.
