O CANADA is being prepared to be delivered to Halifax from Vancouver via the Panama Canal later this month.

With tons of weather infomation coming at them how do the Vendee skippers make sense of it all?

After only 16 days at sea the 20 boat fleet has been reduced to only 13.  Fortunately the only injuries are to boats, sailor's pride and sponsor's wallets. It was especially hard to hear about Vincent Riou's bad luck and brave efforts to repair the damaged hull and shroud. Mike Golding Lamented the rules that prohibit outside assistance as he passed close by Vincent after hearing that he had retired.
